And though we try to stretch out the nom
Insists, at least, on being cuddled
Instead of sleeping in his cot.
But arms can be hazardous!

Aftermath of the Great 4:15am Standoff !
Where it took from 8 hours to get Young Gentlemen to sleep
Whilesoever 4 toddlers squeaked and moaned in the room next door
And occasionally barricaded themselves, screaming, against the shut of it.
Now, four eyes regard Mummy owlishly
And monitor her every move through the pale, quiet bedroom...

The twins have become all goggle- eyed with wonder at the world
While sporting rapidly receding hairlines and eyebrows.

We briefly brave the skittering ants
And enthusiastically tripping, filthy-feet brothers
For a lie in the breeze.
But both boys don't really want this foray
Into meditation in nature.
All they want today is to be held,
Long and lovingly.

Cousin Maia drops around for an impromptu visit
And cuddles Lowan amongst the chaos...
Later in the day, we take the pram, the 4 boys,
And walk to the park for an afternoon mosey.
Still dressed for the cooler indoors, the muggy swelter
Leaves the two littlest Ms unimpressed!

Nanny, Din and Uncle Daney drop by for cuddles
Where Nanny loves to hug both boys in long snuggledy sleepiness
And leaves them smelling like roses the whole day long.

Start to get restless for cuddles
And spend more time gazing at us
Offering Miro's patented Poo-face
Or even the occasional drowsy smile!

Sees the twins in shady garden spots, where

A beautiful, relaxing day at Nanny and Din's
Where a soft breeze cools the boys from the heat of midday
And Tai and Miro shower their little heads with kisses.
